
The team hasn’t made the playoffs this decade, has all of one winning season (9-7 in 2004) during that timeline, and is coming off three consecutive 7-9 seasons.
Inept perception was recently reinforced with the dumping of offensive coordinator Turk Schonert- after the preseason was already over, and the release of starting left tackle Langston Walker just one week before the season opener. Coupled with an excruciatingly painful looking offense the past five weeks, the Bills are surely destined to extend their failing ways.
While odds of extending their playoff-less run and quite possibly a division cellar finish are higher than six months ago, the season is anything but a formality.
