Drayton Florence Calls Out the Dolphins

Posted on September 29, 2009 by Patrick Moran

Drayton Florence, the Buffalo Bills cornerback who’s played all of one game this season after battling a knee injury, is giving the 0-3 Miami Dolphins plenty of bulletin board material.

Florence will be starting Sunday for injured (broken leg) Bills corner Leodis McKelvin. Apparently he can’t wait until Sunday to start as he’s taken to his twitter to call out the
Dolphins for being a bad team.

DraytonFlorence At work studying this wildcat offense you have to try and trick teams when your not that good I guess

While the Dolphins are winless and going nowhere fast, the Bills aren’t all that far behind. At 1-2 and coming off the heels of a lifeless offensive performance Sunday against the Saints, perhaps this isn’t the ideal time to call out any other team.

Florence, new to the Bills this year may not know the Bills have lost seven straight games to divisional opponents, including getting swept by Miami last season.

Wonder what Joey Porter will have to say?

QUOTABLE

The Bills current players need to tackle better, they need to block better, they need to play as a team and trust one another as a team and hold each other accountable for his assignment.
