Buckle up those seatbelts and brace yourself, Buffalo sports fan. The J.P. Losman story reaches chapter two tonight, and all eyes– or a few anyway, will be on the former Buffalo Bills first round bust gunslinger.
Losman is set to make his United Football League (UFL) debut tonight at 9pm as the Las Vegas Locomotives play host to the California Redwoods.
Losman, who spent the past five seasons chucking balls to Asante Samuel, Darrelle Revis and Rodney Harrison–while consistently handing off to Jason Taylor, Shaun Ellis and Richard Seymour, will have a new set of weapons at his disposal.
Vegas features receivers the likes of Andrae Thurman, Tab Perry, Cassie Flair and Sammie Parker. When Losman isn’t slinging the ball all over the field, he’ll be supported by a running game that includes Josh Scobey and the immovable force that is C.C. Dorsey.
In all seriousness, there’s at least a smattering of decent former NFL players on the roster and the Vegas head coach, Jim Fassell once took the New York Giants to the Super Bowl. In fact, how many Bills fans didn’t wish Fassell and Dick Jauron would switch jobs right now?
Las Vegas is part of the four team inaugural UFL season that also includes California, the Florida Tuskers and the New York Sentinels— because New York doesn’t already have enough sports teams.
The game will be televised on Versus, assuming you don’t have Direct TV– or you’re not watching the Sabres.
But don’t you fret Losman lovers, we’ll report on all the action because we know how much you crave it. And while Losman carves up a team that would struggle to beat Boise State, we’ll be anxiously awaiting the “bring back J.P.” rants in the comment box.

Bring back JP!!!
