With free agency looming in less than a month and the Buffalo Bills in need of defensive talent to accommodate their schematic switch, a lot of fans were hoping free agent Arizona linebacker Karlos Dansby would be on the team’s short list of wishes. Perhaps he is, but according to a New York Post report, Dansby isn’t attracted in coming to play in Orchard Park next fall.
Dansby listed four teams he’d be interested in signing with when free agency starts and not surprisingly, Buffalo wasn’t among the potential suitors. Dansby reportedly would like to play for the New York Giants, San Diego, Washington or division rival Miami.
Regarded as one of the more talented linebackers in the league, Dansby had 109 tackles to go with a sack, interception and forced fumble last year. He’s had the franchise tag placed on him the last two years in Arizona but this year is expected to be able to test the market. Buffalo would obviously love to get their hands on his talent, but even if he was interested the price would probably come too high for a team with multiple holes and a GM in Buddy Nix who said the Bills won’t be overly active in free agency.
