The Buffalo Bandits today announced the playoff scenario for the 2010 National Lacrosse League playoffs before heading into this Saturday’s contest against the Boston Blazers at 7:30 p.m.
With a win this Saturday against Boston, Buffalo will be the #3 seed in the East Division playing at Toronto on Saturday, May 1. With a loss, Buffalo is eliminated from playoff contention.
Buffalo Bandits Associate General Manager Derek Graham, summarized the situation, “The playoffs start a week early for us. It’s do or die. There is going to be a playoff style atmosphere at the arena Saturday night with 18,000 of the greatest fans in lacrosse behind us. Hopefully we will be able to give them something to cheer about.”
The Bandits also announced that the first 5,000 kids on Saturday will receive a 2010 Buffalo Bandits team photo. Doors open at 6 p.m.
