Fitzpatrick's skills don't come close to Brohm's. Just compare their college numbers. It's like night and day. Give Brohm 5 or 6 starts, and he'll prove he's the best of the QB's on that roster. But I have a feeling you're right. Looks like this coaching staff, which is average at best, is looking to use the pass to set up the running game. Brohm's a classic pocket passer with great ability to read defenses, superb accuracy, able to take multiple hits, and even has some decent mobility, while Edwards is not a great passer, but may be the best choice for this Spiller-led offense. I truly doubt Gailey's making the right choices for the long term, but their his to make, and if he drops Brohm, I have little doubt he'll be lighting it up somewhere else in a year or two. He's just too skilled for most teams not to consider him.

Looks like a great job by old buddy on the Green signing! That's what happens when you have a clueless old scout as your GM! Green is getting about $3M per year......what a waste! Good thing the Ills didn't draft any young tackles given the "great talent" already on the roster. Both Bell and Green are awful and no way either would start on any other team in the league!

What do you think about Namaan Roosevelt's chances of making the cut? I'd love to see that kid make the team...
