After missing the first two workouts Monday and Tuesday, Buffalo Bills first-round draft pick Marcell Dareus arrived in Western New York last night and spent time getting to know his teammates at the Sahlen’s Sports Complex in Elma Wednesday morning.
The third overall pick of last month’s draft, Dareus met most of his teammates for the first time on Wednesday; a collection that consisted of around 35 current players. The list includes fellow rookies Kelvin Sheppard, Da’Norris Searcy and Justin Rogers.
There’s only a handful of noteworthy Bills players who haven’t attended any of the workouts. Among them are Stevie Johnson (working out in California), C.J. Spiller, Kyle Williams, Eric Wood, Shawne Merriman (in London) and second-round draft selection Aaron Williams.
Three pending free agents also haven’t been in attendance; Paul Posluszny, Donte Whitner and Drayton Florence.
