It appears the list of injured Buffalo Bills players continues to grow. According to a report by Mark Gaughan of the Buffalo News, defensive end Mark Anderson will miss Sunday’s contest at Arizona and will also miss “multiple weeks’ after suffering a knee injury last week against San Francisco.
Anderson signed with the Bills during the offseason for a reported four years and $19.5 million, including $7.9 guaranteed. Anderson had 10 sacks with the New England Patriots in 2011 but hasn’t been a heavy factor early on with the Bills. He had just one sack and 12 tackles through the team’s first five games and along with Mario Williams has been a target of criticism by fans and the media.
His place in the starting lineup will be taken by Chris Kelsay, who had been a starter the previous eight seasons. Kelsay has played sparingly for the most part this season, including just 20 snaps against San Francisco last week.
Kyle Moore will also see more action, particularly in passing situations.
