Sabres Recall Tropp From Rochester

Buffalo SabresBuffalo Sabres General Manager Darcy Regier announced today that forward Corey Tropp has been recalled from the Rochester Americans of the American Hockey League.

Tropp (6’0”, 195 lbs., 7/25/89) re-joins the Sabres for his fifth career recall. He has appeared in 15 games for the Sabres this season, collecting two points (1+1) and 15 penalty minutes.

Tropp has recorded 17 points (7+10) in 22 games with Rochester this season. Overall, he has appeared in 98 AHL games, collecting 57 points (17+40) in time spent with Rochester and the Portland Pirates (2010-11).
The Grosse Pointe Woods, Mich. native was selected by the Sabres in the third round (89th overall) of the 2007 NHL Entry Draft.
