The Rochester Razorsharks defeated the Buffalo Stampede 131-110 Saturday at the Blue Cross Arena in Rochester. The loss dropped the Stampede to 1-3 on the year after losing to the defending PBL champs for the second time this season.
Rochester was led by Maurice Crouch who had an outstanding game with 32 points. Keith Friel added 29.
Buffalo played the Razorsharks very tough throughout the first half and were leading by 10 points at the intermission break. The Stampede had six players in double figures with Wake Forest alum Cameron Stanley leading with 25 points and 5 rebounds.
Former NBA player and Buffalo native Damone Brown had 24 points and 5 rebounds in his first game with the Stampede.
Other players in double figures were Aaron Harrison – 14 points and 7 rebounds, Greg Gamble 12 points, and Andy Robinson and Kevin Ross each with 10 points. Ross also had a game high of 10 boards.
