Western New York’s top high school hockey teams will face off this Sunday, Feb. 26 when the 28th-Annual Super Sunday High School Hockey Championships take place at First Niagara Center.
Super Sunday will begin at 9 a.m., with the first of three Western New York High School Club Hockey championship games getting under way. Once all three Club Hockey divisions have crowned a champion, the Federation championship games will begin play at 3 p.m. The day will culminate with the Federation Private School Championship at 7 p.m.
Admission and parking in the arena ramp are both free on Super Sunday. Below is a schedule and times for the six championship games:
9 a.m. Club Mixed School Championship: City Honors/Cardinal O’Hara vs. Iroqouis/Alden
11 a.m. Club Large School Championship: Hutch Tech vs. St. Francis
1 p.m. Club Small School Championship: Starpoint vs. Cheektowaga
3 p.m. Federation Large School Championship: Williamsville North vs. Niagara Wheatfield
5 p.m. Federation Small School Championship: Williamsville East vs. Kenmore East
7 p.m. Federation Private School Championship: St. Francis vs. Canisius
