Niagara Falls high school alum Jonny Flynn and the Minnesota Timberwolves gave pro-basketball fans in Minnesota something to be excited about last night. Flynn and his teammates traveled to Detroit to take on the Pistons in The Palace of Auburn Hills and walked away victorious, 122-114.
Flynn played one of the best games he has had since joining the Timberwolves roster earlier this summer. Although the Timberwolves were down three at the half and quickly allowed the spread to grow in the third quarter, Flynn and the rookie roster (both Kevin Love and Al Jefferson sat the game out) regrouped and came out swinging. Analysts have commented that despite Flynn’s talent, the young star needs the leadership of older, experienced players like Love or Jefferson… last night quieted those voices.

Niagara Falls high school alum Jonny Flynn joined the Minnesota Timberwolves this summer and has immediately stepped up to prove that despite being a lottery pick on the team, he came to the Land of 10,000 Lakes to work and won’t stop until he proves he deserves the starting spot that he has been given.
