Buffalo Bills Free Agents: Who Stays… And Goes?

  • Posted on February 9, 2010 at 8:33 am

terrell owens buffalo sports dailyFor the past few weeks, our talented colleague Brian Galliford over at Buffalo Rumblings has been generously providing our readers with a Buffalo Bills’ roster breakdown by position.  I encourage all fans to check out his brilliant breakdowns by position (as well as visit Rumblings for all Bills related news and views—simply put it’s the best Bills fan site on the web).

Anyway, with the NFL season officially over and the new Bills staff seemingly in place, it’s time to (happily) start looking forward to 2010.  New head coach Chan Gailey and General Manager Buddy Nix among other decision makers have hoards of key personnel moves to ponder.

Players will be cut and/or traded in the coming month and released players from other organizations are will be brought in during the time leading to free agency.  With a new staff and front office, there’s going to be turnover—probably more so than any recent year.

Bills Lose Wood AND McKinney for season with injuries

  • Posted on November 23, 2009 at 1:01 pm

Perry Fewell just got finished addressing the media following yesterday’s hard fought and heartbreaking three point loss at Jacksonville.

Not only is Eric Wood done for the season, but so is Seth McKinney.  McKinney injured his knee against Jacksonville.  He was starting at left guard after Andy Levitre slid over to replace injured tackle Demetrius Bell.

The Bills will now have to make to roster moves this week on the offensive line as they only have five able bodies there for this Sunday’s game against Miami.  Christian Gaddis will very likely be promoted from the practice squad to take one spot, and the club will look at other prospects to occupy the other.

Marshawn Lynch (shoulder) and John McCargo (calf) were also hurt Sunday and will be evaluated on a day to day basis.
